This is perfect for all health practitioners who work with their hands.
As a Kundalini yoga teacher, I love to find ways to integrate this into my own healing routines and with my clients. We all have the ability to feel the energy through our hands and this is a short meditation that will deepen our connection. You don’t have to be attuned to any energy-healing therapy (like Reiki) to feel it… Try it for your Self!
There are many ways you can use this meditation. As a health practitioner, especially if you use your hands, this is a good regular practice to do – Even before you see your clients. This is also great for feeling our own energy power and when we are doing self-healing practices (like Self Reiki). After this meditation, you can use your hands to enjoy connection… Place the hands on your own heart space or with a loved one… you could even explore it by connecting to your pet (they LOVE energy!) and when you are working in the garden using your hands. Be as creative as you want with your healing hands – Enjoy!

HEALING HANDS MEDITATION – 11 MINUTES
Meditation Comments: Practice this full routine for 11 minutes every day if you want to be able to transfer healing energy to someone or to something such as massage oil or a glass of water.
Mt personal favourite mantra to use for this meditation:
Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung
⒈ Produce Heat – 3 to 5 Minutes
Posture: Sit in easy pose and rub the palms of your hands together briskly. Produce heat in the hands.
⒉ Arms Out – 3 Minutes
Posture: Stretch your arms out to the sides, parallel to the floor, palms up, thumbs pointing back.
Breath: Begin Breath of Fire (VIDEO – Instructions for breath of fire)
Continue for 3 minutes. Then inhale, hold your breath in, and with the arms still out to the sides, bend your wrists so your palms are facing out (away from the body) as if you were pushing out the walls on either side of you. Feel the energy in the centre of the palms flowing to your entire body. Exhale and relax your breath.
⒊ Rub Hands Again – 2 Minutes
Posture: Rub the hands together again vigorously.
⒋ Energy Exchange – For a few minutes (enjoy for as long as you like!)
Posture: Bend both elbows, keeping the forearms parallel to the floor. With the left hand in front of the diaphragm, palm facing up, place your right palm facing down about 8 inches above the left palm.
Focus: Meditate on the exchange of energy between the palms of the hands.
